Today I have a 16 month old...

A child that lives in the moment, who feels the simple pleasures in life with passion and feels life's frustration with tears and screams.

This month has been hard.

After our family was rocked by the loss of my sister in-laws unborn child Hermione at 25 weeks, I've held Harper tight, I've been thankful for the hard days. I make the most of each day knowing no one knows what the future holds.

Trying to put myself in her shoes, I imagined the unimaginable.

So this month I'm not doing my usual list of what Harper can do...

This month I have a 16 month old and for that I'm forever grateful.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. What a tragedy. Those types of events really make you reflect on your blessings and hold your loved ones close. Baby boy is looking as adorable as ever! have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I send my hugs, love, and prayers to your sister. I can tell you from experience, it's a long healing process. I lost my little one at only 6 weeks and it still hurts. A loss is a loss. Maybe you could show your sister and etsy shop. It's called TheMidnightOrange (I swear this is not a plug, mearly sharing something that has brought healing and hope into my life after my loss). She does emotional and touching little clay sculptures. I hope your sister is wrapped in loving arms as well.
BUT little man is looking pretty dang cute! Happy 16th monthiversary!
